Village at Litchfield Park
and Litchfield Greens
Village at Litchfield Park and Litchfield Greens Directory:
“We initially decided to have Brian represent us and list both our home and lot because of his smart seller program. As the process went on, we quickly discovered he far exceeded any other realtor we’ve worked with. Brian’s creativity, and high communication puts him in a league all his own.”
– Chris and Christy O., Village at Litchfield Park
Overview:
Litchfield Park is one of the best kept secrets in Arizona. It has an exceptional climate with 300 plus days of sunshine each year and a relaxed “down home” lifestyle to fulfill the dreams and goals of those who relocated to this wonderful community.
Located just 20 minutes west of Phoenix, Litchfield Park has a long, rich history dating back to 1916 and is the historic center of the Southwest Valley. When Goodyear Tire and Rubber was looking for farmland to grow Egyptian long-staple cotton to use in tire cords, they settled on the Southwest Valley. The project was developed by one of the company executives, Paul Litchfield, for whom the town was named after.
Litchfield Park is nestled between the Sierra Estrella and White Tank Mountain ranges and offers access to thousands of acres of parks with trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding nearby. There are also three wonderful golf courses in Litchfield park, as well as miles of pathways for walking, running, and biking.
One of the highlights of Litchfield Park is The Wigwam Resort & Hotel, which was originally built for executives of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to visit their farming operations. In 1929 the resort opened to the public and became a fashionable and exclusive resort.
Litchfield Park is also well known for its many special events held throughout the year including outdoor concerts, runs, fine art festivals and holiday celebrations. The locals who live in and around Litchfield Park love the community events and celebrations hosted by the city.
